We have adopted Love and Logic and have been using it as a school for years. Resourcing our new teachers with this philosophy is one of the most impactful things we do.

Very helpful so far.

Our teacher training is on July 16, so I can tell you more after that. Thank you for all that you do and have done to change the world one child, one family, and one school at a time. In His Service, Kim T.

Interested to see what the seminars are like.

I am not done yet but love the philosophy. I teach online so figuring out how I can use this without actually seeing the students.

I have always been a big fan of Love and Logic. I could not find my book since I switched jobs, so I ordered a new one. I have been using it since DVD times :0)

I think it'll help me with student teaching.

Helpful strategies that are directly applicable in the classroom/school.

I have been a Love and Logic parent trainer for years. I have also used it for the 35 years I have been teaching. I was recently asked by my school to provide a training on de-escaltion and returned to my roots of Love and Logic. If we use the basic tenets of this belief system, the need to use more intensive techniques virtually dissolves! I received many compliments and thank yous for the tips. And I ordered 5 books in case any teachers wanted to delve deeper. They were gone within 2 days! Thank you again!

Love and Logic has great suggestions for the classroom!

I have seen the video workshops via my job, so I was motivated to have the book to reference. So far so good. Thank you for taking the time to put it together. Every student is different and how they respond. So having the different techniques of empathy and accountability are great.

The right fit for our future son in law, who retired from the Navy and wants to be a pediatric counselor. He's substitute teaching on the side.

Very helpful in managing my classroom and learning how to relate better with my students.

Our district is using this book as part of a Book study for our entire K-5 teaching group and support staff.

I used this book as a Professional Development study topic. Our K-8 teachers found it helpful in reaching some of our more difficult students.

It's great information! I would really like a paper copy. Do you send books to New Zealand?

Excellent resource for teaching students and family.

I’m still listening to the audio. I am practicing changing the words I choose when speaking to the students. It’s working well!

I bought the book for my son who is teaching 5th grade science/social science for the first time. He found the book and ideas helpful and developed his list of what he would and would not do. The school, however, does not support consequence based discipline. They use a heavy warning and punishment model. He has found it useful to stay in empathy and to build better relationships, however. I also bought a copy for another of my children who is an adjunct professor at a college, where the ideas have also been very useful.

We have loved it!

Each year, we purchase Love and Logic for our new teachers. They enjoy the book.

The empathic response has been a game-changer. Instead of reacting with frustration ("Why did you do that?!"), I respond with genuine sadness ("Oh, that's such a bummer you chose to break the classroom rule. What do you think we should do about it?"). This way, my students feel the I am on their side, even when they've made a mistake. Discipline becomes a learning conversation, not a confrontation. This builds immense trust and respect.

Great book with practical tips!

I’m excited to get back to school and put the Love and Logic ideas in practice!

Looking forward to trying Love and Logic strategies with my 3rd graders this fall. I would love to have some cheat sheets with the common phrases so that I could read them over, reminding myself what to say in the moment!

As a facilitator for Love and Logic I use the Quick and Easy classroom interventions a lot during my presentations. It is a great tool to have when things heat up and teachers don’t know what to do to cool things down

Above the cut as usual.

Excellent advice! Wish all teachers were knowledgeable about your methods and materials !

I have only started reading but what I have read is so good. I'm looking forward to putting into practice the strategies that I'm reading about.

Full of helpful information!

This was a wonderful refresher. I was with Jim Fay in the early 80"s. I hope to use the information with the Student Candidates that I supervise.

Love and Logic strategies are relevant on a daily basis. Staff, students, parents and teachers all benefit from the wide variety of interventions and strategies. Thank you, Jim and Charles, for all your hard work and ongoing efforts.

I loved the book. The experience shared was wonderful. I could relate and have applied in my classroom.

Love this program so much. Been using it since around 2000. Trying my hardest to bring it to my current district!

Thanks for great customer service

I wish I would have known about Love and Logic when I started teaching school. My relationships with my students would have been so much richer. The power struggles and dealing with parents would have been smoother. Once I started using Love and Logic in the classroom, it was "game on" for my family (including my husband)! What a life changer!!

Interesting book Wish you had a French version

Always a great reminder!

This has been an invaluable tool.

I wasn’t able to listen to a whole section at a time, so it would be awesome if the audio track saved my place. Love the content - super helpful!
