Help with Stopping Bedtime Tantrums

Every night it’s the same: as bedtime draws near, your child (or children) become more active and restless and you’re hoping there won’t be a meltdown as you near the bedroom. “I’m hungry; I’m thirsty; I’ve got to potty; I’m scared,” are just a few of the excuses you hear night after night. The key to avoiding these evening tantrums is an effective and consistent bedtime routine.

We’ve provided this article to help you teach your children not only when it’s time to unwind, unplug from the stimuli, and start settling in for the night, but how going to the bedroom at the end of the day can become an enjoyable event that prepares them for a great day.
