Love and Logic® recommends Independent Trainers facilitate one session per week for 4-6 weeks (dependent on the number of modules in the curricula you are teaching). This allows participants the opportunity to practice/experiment with the skills learned before moving on to the next skill. Each session is approximately 2 hours in duration. It is important you do not facilitate multiple sessions in one day or hold classes too close together; parents may become overwhelmed, and leave feeling Love and Logic techniques are too hard.
Successful facilitators teach the curricula as directed in the easy step-by-step Facilitator’s Guide. Our research shows that participants are most successful, and gain a better understanding of Love and Logic, when the classes are taught in this way.
Each participant must have his/her own workbook; couples may share.
